Dr. Dewanna Staup graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a B.S. in Natural Science and Mathematics, a Masters in Physiological Optics and a Doctorate in Optometry. She is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Alabama Optometric Assocation.
Her practice specialties include dry eye care and geriatrics. She is a lifelong Alabama resident and has been practicing for 24 years.
Away from work, Dr. Staup enjoys time with her husband James and their 3 children. She likes to read, attend Broadway Theatre League and Community theatre events.
